IRA Rollovers/Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you have an IRA, starting at age 73, you’ll be required to take a minimum distribution. That withdrawal will increase your annual income, which could push you into a higher tax bracket, impacting things like your Social Security payments or Medicare benefits. Individuals and couples 70.5 and older can reduce their annual income by rolling over some or all of those funds to charity via a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). Talk to your IRA custodian today to request a QCD directly to LSNV.
