“Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” John Dewey. Education is important; however, access to education can be severely limited by one’s financial resources. As a result, individuals often turn to student loans to finance their education and bridge the affordability gap. Unfortunately, students can face challenges in obtaining these loans, including predatory practices by lenders and schools. The Student Loan Justice Project aims to provide assistance to these student loan borrowers, including assistance with discharging student loans and defending student loan collections actions in court.
